IMC 2020: PM Modi gives a virtual inaugural address

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has virtually given inaugural address to Indian mobile Congress 2020 from the PMO’s office. Forth edition of the three day telecom industry event will be held virtually due to corona virus pandemic. It is first of this event held virtually due to corona.

As part of the Modi is addressing in Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) 2020 said that “India has lowest tariff, fastest growing app market. Indian is emerging as most preferred mobile manufacturing base and also said that in India every village to have high speed fiber optic data connectivity in three years”

Indian Mobile Congress 2020 has organized by the Department of telecommunication Cellular operators Association of India every year with a new theme and it will held from December 8 to 10.

It is an event which is a witness for attending various ministers, telecom CEOs, global CEOs and different telecom experts.

The IMC 2020 title theme is Inclusive Innovation – Smart, Secure, Sustainable.

The PMO’s office made a statement that the aim of IMC 2020 is to align PM Modi’s vision “to promote Aatmanirbhar Bharat, digital inclusivity, sustainable development, entrepreneurship and innovation.”

IMC 2020 also “aims to drive foreign and local investments, encourage Research and Development in the telecom and emerging technology sectors”, the statement added.

The IMC has a record that it is the largest digital technology event in India and it is the biggest International tech conference in South Asia. Over 60 countries, 350 national and international speakers, 350 exhibitors, 56 live 5G demos, over 50 thought leadership sessions and 75,000 visitors were participated in Indian Mobile Congress 2019 and it is also considered one of the event where participate huge number of business investors, CEOs and International speakers.
